The catalogue is the portfolio

Most studios show you six pretty stills and ask you to imagine the rest. Everything we have made is already on this site — 473 designs you can open, play with sound, and price before you speak to anyone. What follows is the part that is harder to see from a thumbnail: the briefs these were built to answer.

Briefs, and what answers them

What families actually ask for

Five things we are asked for more than anything else, and a design from the catalogue that solves each one. Open any of them.

20 cards, a 136-second video

Five days, six ceremonies, one invitation

The hard part of a multi-event wedding is not fitting the events in, it is keeping the card from reading like a timetable. The longest sets in the catalogue run to twenty cards and carry the whole sequence — tilak, haldi, the ceremony, the reception — each on its own card, in the order they happen.

23 designs in this tradition

A card with no figures on it

A Nikah card that must be free of figurative imagery is a design constraint to start from, not a request to work around afterwards. These are built on girih geometry, crescent and mosque silhouettes and ornamental gold, with Urdu set right-to-left throughout.

12 scripts across 17 traditions

A script that is not Hindi or English

A conjunct set wrong is the kind of mistake a family notices immediately and every guest notices eventually. The catalogue is typeset across twelve scripts, and a card only ships once someone who reads the language has read it.

20 cards covering the whole trip

Guests flying in, and nobody knows the plan

A destination wedding invitation is doing two jobs: inviting people, and telling them where to be on Thursday morning. The itinerary sets carry travel, stay and the running order alongside the ceremony card.

257 card sets, 216 videos

Something that is not a video at all

Not every family wants a video. A print-ready card set does the same work over WhatsApp, in a wedding album and at the press, and the same artwork can be animated later if you change your mind.

How a brief becomes a design

The parts that do not photograph well

Your details are typeset, not typed into a box

Names, dates, venues and family lines are set into the artwork by a designer, and the palette is adjusted to your outfits. That is the difference between a design that was made for you and a template that has your name in it.

The sequence is understood before you explain it

Gaye holud before biye, bou bhaat after. Nikah and Walima to two different lists. The muhurtham in its own band. Tell us which events you are running and the card order follows them.

The design code outlives the wedding

Every design carries a code like MMI-W-301. Quote it when you come back for the reception card, or two years later for an annaprashan, and we pick up the same artwork rather than starting again.

You see it before you decide

A first draft with your own details in it arrives within 48 hours, and you get three rounds of changes at no cost.

Why there are no client names on this page. A wedding invitation carries a family's names, their dates and their home address. Publishing that as marketing — even reduced to initials — is not ours to do without asking. Named commissions, photographs and quotes go up only where a family has agreed in writing, and until then the work speaks for itself. If you would like to talk to someone we have worked with, ask and we will see who is happy to.

Tell us what makes yours difficult.

The tight date, the eleven relatives, the script nobody sets properly. That is the part we are interested in.
