The short version

Reserving a design costs nothing. You can browse, configure and enquire without paying anything. Money is only due once you have accepted a written quote: 50% to begin production, and 50% when the finished files are delivered.

Reserving a design on this site costs nothing, creates no account and is not an order. It is an enquiry. A contract only exists once we have sent you a written quote and you have accepted it.

When money is due

Reserving a design	Free. No card, no deposit, no obligation.
Our quote, and your acceptance	Free. Still nothing charged.
Starting production	50% of the agreed price is payable. Work begins once it is received.
Your first draft	Within 48 hours of production starting. Three rounds of changes are included at no extra cost.
Delivery of the final files	The remaining 50% is payable. Files are released on payment.

Every price shown is the final figure. We accept UPI, bank transfer and card.

Cancelling, and what it costs

Before you pay the production deposit	Free. Tell us and we stop. You owe nothing, and nothing has been charged.
After the deposit, before the final files are delivered	The 50% production deposit is not refundable, because the work it paid for has been done. Nothing further is charged.
After the final files are delivered	No refund. A digital invitation cannot be returned once you have it, and by then it is usually already circulating.
A bespoke commission, after the concept meeting	The concept and storyboard stage is charged at the agreed rate for that stage. Anything not yet started is not charged.

To cancel, message us on WhatsApp at +91 97487 78888 or email info@makemyinvite.com quoting your reference or design code. The cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge it, which will be within 2 working hours during studio hours.

When we refund in full

There are situations where the fault is ours, and then you get your money back without argument:

We miss an agreed deadline through our own fault and the invitation is no longer of use to you.
We cannot deliver what we quoted, for any reason on our side.
We have taken a payment in error, or twice.
The delivered files are materially not what was agreed — the wrong design, the wrong language, the wrong event — and we cannot put it right.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days of being agreed. Bank timings after that are out of our hands.

Revisions are not a refund route

Three rounds of revisions are included in every order. Spelling corrections do not count as a round. Most families use two.

If, after three rounds, the invitation is still not right, we will part ways and you will owe nothing further — but the 50% production payment already made is not refunded, because that work was carried out to your instructions.

Not grounds for a refund: a change of mind about the design after approving it, a change of event date or venue after production has begun, or a preference expressed after delivery that was never raised during the revision rounds. Tell us during the revisions — that is exactly what they are for.

Rush fees, add-ons and cancelled events

Rush delivery (₹1,200 for 24 hours, ₹2,500 same day)	Refundable only if we miss the rush deadline. If we deliver on time, it is earned.
Add-ons not yet started	Removable at any point before work on them begins, and deducted in full.
Add-ons already produced	Chargeable, on the same terms as the main invitation.
Your event is cancelled or postponed	We will hold your artwork on file and re-date it once at no charge. Money already paid is not refunded, but it is not wasted either.

What you receive, so there is no dispute later

On final payment you receive an HD MP4 at full resolution and a WhatsApp-sized copy that survives compression. Where the design supports it, a print-ready CMYK PDF with bleed and crop marks is also included.

We do not print or ship physical cards. Nothing on this site is a physical product, so there is no shipping, no delivery address, and no returns process in the postal sense.

If you are unhappy

Tell us first, and tell us early. Almost everything is fixable during the revision rounds, and nearly nothing is fixable after the invitation has gone out to four hundred people.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
